What is Fourtrees?
Fourtrees, or Druid’s Hollow, as it is sometimes called, is a location in the YA fantasy series Warriors by Erin Hunter. When I was a kid, I read a whole bunch of these books, and I figured that it would be a fun idea to return to the series as an adult and published author and do some literary analysis on the themes, plotlines, and topics from the series. Fourtrees is also about connecting with other fans of the series to discuss how it has impacted their lives and creative endeavours.
It’s a fun side project of mine, and my vision for making this has already taken me in directions I never knew I would go, from learning to code to dealing with audio and music editing and even 3D modelling for the resources on the YouTube uploads. It’s also allowed me to reconnect with my childhood in a way I’ve been sorely missing, and meet other people who are passionate about the same thing that I am.
Fourtrees uploads every week on Wednesday, 5 PM GMT, to Anchor and YouTube. It’s also available on Spotify, Google & Apple Podcasts, and a whole bunch of other sites I don’t know the names of.
